Small plumbing leaks or drips over time can create a productive breading ground for mold and in places that are not always readily visible. Signs of a possible mold problem may include a musty smell or odor in your home or business and of course any visible signs of mold growth.

The extent of a mold problem may not always be known until a mold professional has inspected the area(s) of concern. In our most recent case study, you can see that the pictures indicate a kitchen that does not appear to have much of a mold problem. However, once a thorough inspection was done the extent of the mold was clear.

My name is Luis Mahiquez and I am the owner and operator of Lightning Restoration of Sarasota. I graduated from Jesuit High School in Tampa (class of ’99) and went on to receive my business degree from the University of Florida in 2003. After several years in the commercial real estate in South Florida, I moved back here to the Sarasota/Bradenton area and started my restoration company in 2008.
